A lot of us songwriters and musicians, when we have kids for the first time, are inspired to make a children's album. This will be mine -- a collection of songs that either are, or at least to me have always sounded like, good songs for children and childhood. If nothing else, they are songs -- traditional and otherwise -- that I want my daughter to know. I recorded these at home, direct-to-stereo on a Sony PCM-D1, odd background noises and all, whenever my toddler daughter would take a nap. Mastering is now complete! We're moving on to design and production. Here's an unmastered track to give you a taste of what's to come.
